Great school! I have two children who graduated from Carmel and went on to two of the most competitive colleges in the U.S. The Carmel academic, social, athletic and religious programs prepared them extremely well. Carmel is a caring place with a long-standing record of excellence. I would not hesitate to again entrust them with the education of my children!

I am one of five children in my family who went to school at Carmel. All my siblings and I went to Carmel and graduated to go to great college careers.

In my four years there were definite challenges, but I couldn’t be more thankful. I wouldn’t want a light course load from a college prep school. My teachers were all willing and available to me at any time and the extra curricular activities were outstanding.

From my four years, I never once witness cliques or defined slots that kids often put each other in. There was such an amazing sense of community that banded together to support one another in sports and arts.

I cherish my years at Carmel and enjoy visiting when I can.

My daughter just finished her first semester at Carmel. Background: We are not Catholic, my son attends Vernon Hills High School, so we had the option of a top high schools in the state for free. All I can say is WOW. Not only are they academically focused, but they really do pay attention to the whole child. I had read and heard that they believe in not only working with kids to become honorable people, but the proof is in the pudding. Not only are these kids respectful, but the faculty has gone above and beyond for us. We are very, very happy with our decision to send her to Carmel. It’s a nurturing environment, and she is really being challenged academically.

When I went to the school it had a pretty bad reputation. I had no issues during my time there and it set me up well for the future.

The current principal, Anthony Kroll, was one of my teachers and I know the school is in good hands with him.

Craig’s shop does awesome work. I trusted them to supercharge my 2017 Gramd Sport and all I can say is wow! Awesome work quality, perfect tune – I have the dream machine I always wanted!!! These guys are perfectionists, would definitely recommend again for high end custom work!

Craig and his shop are the only ones I will take my c7 too. Suoercharger Install and tune are absolutely amazing and they are professional and friendly. Hands down best shop around.

Grabbing some frozen goodies on my lunch break and all the frozen foods were open! A box that’s supposed to be closed was deliberately opened and the management can careless. How gross and unsanitary, especially during a pandemic.

Where else can you fill up a grocery cart for less than $100? Trader Joe’s unassuming cousin, with many of the same products. The only downside is the unpredictability of certain staple items’ availability. Nice clean store with wide aisles, friendly staff and great bargains.

Great place for quality food. This is my go-to place for groceries. Good selection of quality products at great prices. Most are house brands but of good quality.

This is a conveniently located value grocery store. With a rotating selection of quality products, this is a great place to try new things at an inexpensive price. Although, it is often inconvenient to have to pay a 25 cent deposit on shopping carts.

Very cool place! The pandemic inspired them to create a great outdoor area with tables and small stage. Saw a friend’s band here tonight and enjoyed a Pinehopple cider. I’ll definitely be back.

Very pleasant eating atmosphere, experience. Served warm bread wrapped in napkin with soft spreadable butter. For the main course had a wonderful melt in the mouth swordfish over a bed of rice with a light tasty sauce.
Service very good water refilled without needing to ask, the waiter and possibly owner checked to make sure everything was excellent
Food very good. Will be back to try other entrees. We enjoyed the food so much we invited the stage out to our table for a drink (it was near closing time but, alas they abstain from the adult beverages we will be back!

Service and food was great. Mario took very good care of us. We started with a sample half rack of ribs and the sausage and peppers as an appetizer. Then had the special halibut and mushroom risotto with scallops. Beware of the surf and turf special with a steak slathered in sauce and the stuffed deep fried shrimp. Was just okay. I would definitely go back for the service and food.

My business partner and I were in the area on a business trip and we searched for a local restaurant to get a good meal. We stumbled across Gale Street Inn and decided to give it a try. So so glad we did. This place is amazing. We both we beyond pleased with everything we ordered. Would definitely make this place our first choice if we are in that area again. Our hats off to the chef.

Overpriced office. Not willing to work with you at all. Charges ridiculous fees just to send one letter. Very rude tone and takes several communications to get a response. I do not recommend this office

Worst place ever! Their lawyers and the firm have all come under fire for some form of fraud. I received a settlement check from one of these lawsuits. I’m not sure why my condo board continues to use them, they’re absolutely horrible. They are slow to respond and service is horrendous. Please avoid them if possible.

Originally Bills would have received a 5 star, yesterday 8/17@2:30 pm 4 adults with 2 very hungry 4yr. and 2 yr. children were IGNORED! 2O minutes and no server. We had to find our own high chair and menus. NO EXAGGERATION – 20 minutes before a server came to ask about drinks. Bills wasn’t busy, Bills had no other customers at tables!!!

Had ordered 3 different sandwiches.
Not one of them were really tasting good.
Nothing tasted fresh except the salad.
Been told there pizza are good. Don’t know if I go back though for pizza.

This was my second time coming back to this restaurant and man things changed drastically..and in a very bad way..first when ordering over on the phone more than half of their menu is not available because a shortage they are having..they don’t even have peanuts in stock..when my boyfriend came back with the food, his chili bowl was only 2/3 filled up!!! Not only that but the wings had no flavor what so ever. Very disappointing for the price of $20. This place used to be a great place and we thought it would be great to support local small businesses but this was a very bad experience. Hope they do something different or it’s going to go down hill very fast.

One of the most beautiful and calming place to visit. I want to bring my grand daughter so she can see it’s beauty and experience it’s calming affect. It helped me through a terrible time in my life. I want her to know there is somewhere as glorious.

This campus is just beautiful. All I can say is when I went inside the church, I felt a great peace come over me. Love all the sayings in Latin. A must see place.

Truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful campuses I’ve ever visited! 🌳 🌲 🦢 ⛪️

This Catholic Seminary and University is located on a breathtaking piece of land that features a gorgeous lake and forest. The grounds are professionally kept which makes this a perfect place to visit if you’re looking for quiet reflection. I highly recommend stopping by the chapel as well which is beautifully designed.

I definitely plan on coming back to pray and visit in the near future!

I love that church. Everyone is so friendly and yet it takes many extra precautions for the pandemic. For instance, the Priests bring the Holy Eucharist to the people instead of them walking up to the alter. I love that.

I was totally turned off by the priest that was going to handle my Moms funeral I have been in the parish for about 25 years taught
CCD for 6 years and sang in the choir for about 2 years …the Father was a little angry that I did not know him and giving me quizzes about what time Masses are Don’t You know who I am he said you must not attend church And I replied Don’t you know who I am and walked out

To the flippers, 70% of the stores purchases are made by us. I know I spent over $3,500 at goodwill this year. But if you operate within your liberties of the constitution you will be asked to leave. Mask requirements only – our money is no longer good here. Would recommend finding new sourcing locations if your freedoms are important to you.
